First, congratulations on your upcoming arrivals! Second, if you’re anything like most of the rest of us, you may well be approaching multiple parenthood with a fair amount of trepidation, as well as excitement.
For this reason, the Dulwich and District Twins club periodically organise expectant parents’ evenings. The idea of these is to give you the chance to meet a number of parents of multiples, ask us any questions you might have, and compare notes with other expectant parents.
We’ll be covering pregnancy, birth, the early weeks and months, sleep, feeding, kit, development, coping with it all, and any other topics and issues people want to bring. We need to emphasise that we are not able to provide medical or professional advice; we are simply a group of parents who have been through it and have clocked up a bit of experience that we hope you might find useful.
We currently usually meet at The Clock House (http://clockhousepub.com/) SE22, in the snug, which is the little room immediately to the right when you walk in the front door, up a few stairs. There are four events per year.
The next scheduled dates are all Tuesday evenings at 8PM: 10/07/18 Autumn ’18 babies – postponed, new date TBD 16/10/18 Winter ’18/19 babies 15/01/19 Spring ’19 babies 02/04/19 Summer ’19 babies Please email Jennifer Carlson at firstname.lastname@example.org or send a PM on Facebook to register interest—the event only runs if enough people can come. Venue will be confirmed closer to the date.
